Information for Graduate Students

Graduate students in my research group  typically work individually or in groups of two on projects in experimental surface science.  They become expert in all phases of experimental surface physics, from equipment design and construction through quantitative data analysis and oral and written communication of the results.  This training has proved to be valuable for either academic or industrial careers.  Past Ph.D. students have gone on to successful careers at colleges and universities and in major international companies such as IBM, Seagate and Samsung.
